The RFW Story

Our mission was simple: to celebrate the artistry of racing fashion with the care and detail it deserves — timeless, sophisticated, and rooted in the joy of dressing for the track.

From our very first guide, we set out to capture the magic of race-day dressing, helping women turn each event into a fashion moment. And what a journey it has been.

A Year of Grand Adventures

In our first year, RFW travelled far beyond Australian shores in search of the world’s most elegant race days. We stood in the shadow of the grandstand at ParisLongchamp for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe 2024, soaking up the romance of French racing. We made our way to the rolling countryside of the UK for Cheltenham Festival, where tradition and modernity met in spectacular style.

Closer to home, we were there for the biggest days in the Australian racing calendar — from Flemington’s Melbourne Cup Carnival to The Everest in Sydney, and everything in-between.

Our First Year Of Style Guides

Across the 2024/25 season, we released nine meticulously curated Style Guides, each one celebrating the personality and tradition of its race day. You can view all nine guides here:

Each guide delivered more than outfit suggestions — each offered seasonal palettes and millinery inspiration designed to help you stand out, whether you were front-row at the track or hosting a race-day lunch at home.

The Next Chapter: From Screen to Social

The launch of the RFW Social Club

As we look ahead to Spring ’25, our focus sharpens on two things:

  1. More exceptional style guides for the season’s biggest race days. Everest Carnival, Derby Day, Melbourne Cup day and everything in-between.
  2. The launch of the RFW Social Club — moving our community from the digital space to the grandstands.

Our inaugural Social Club event will take place at Rosehill Gardens in September 2025, bringing together an intimate group of fashion-forward women for an afternoon of fine dining, champagne, and the thrill of the races. It’s the natural next step in our mission: creating not just content, but connection.
